Technologies and Engineering

"Technologies and Engineering" is an open-access peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research, review articles and technical notes covering aspects related to the development of industry and related fields.

Beginning with issue 4 of 2024, the editorial board narrowed the thematic scope of the journal. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:

I. Information technology and electronics: 

• Advances in computer technology, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data processing applications in various industries.
• Innovations in electronic systems, communication technologies, and embedded systems.
• The Internet of Things (IoT), cybersecurity, and digital transformation.

II. Mechanical and electrical engineering:

• Development and optimisation of mechanical systems, robotics, and automation in production processes.
• Innovations in electrical engineering, including power systems, renewable energy technologies, and electric vehicles.
• Applications of control systems, mechatronics, and signal processing in industrial and consumer goods.

III. Chemical and biopharmaceutical technologies:

• Advances in chemical engineering, including process optimisation, reaction engineering, and the development of new chemical processes.
• Biopharmaceutical research, including drug delivery systems, bioactive materials, and bioprocess engineering.
• Integration of chemical and biopharmaceutical technologies into the healthcare, cosmetics, and fashion industries.

IV. Materials science in the fashion industry and light industry:

• Research on advanced materials, including smart textiles, sustainable materials, and nanotechnology, in particular for use in the consumer goods industry.
• Research on the properties and characteristics of materials used in the production of textiles, clothing, and footwear.
• Innovations in material processing, functional finishes, and environmentally friendly manufacturing practices, with a focus on the light industry.

V. Technologies for the production of textiles, clothing, and footwear:

• Modern manufacturing techniques, including 3D printing, laser cutting, and automation, are used in the production of textiles and clothing specific to the light industry.
• Innovations in design, pattern making, and quality control in the fashion and apparel industries.
• Sustainable and circular economic practices in textile production and waste management.

The editorial policy of the "Technologies and Engineering" journal is based on the principles of objectivity and impartiality in the selection of articles for publication; high demands on the quality of scientific research; obligatory peer review of articles; collegiality in making decisions on the publication of articles; accessibility and efficiency in communicating with authors; strict compliance with copyright and related rights. The main criterion in the selection of materials for publication is their originality and relevance of ideas, the scientific and factual reliability of the presented material.
