Igor Panasiuk was born on October 13, 1961, in the city of Kyiv. In 1983, he graduated with honours from the Kyiv Technological Institute of Light Industry. From 1983 to 1986, he worked at the Research Institute of Leather and Shoe Production. Since 1986, a graduate student, assistant, associate professor, and professor at Kyiv Technological Institute of Light Industry .
Candidate of technical sciences since 1990, received the title of associate professor in 1993. He defended his doctoral thesis in 2004. The academic title of professor was awarded in 2006.
From 2005 to 2019, he was the head of the Department of Technogenic Safety and Heat and Mass Exchange Processes of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design. From 2019 to the present, he is the director of the educational and scientific institute of engineering and information technologies at the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design.
From 2007 to 2012, he held the position of vice-rector for scientific, pedagogical, and educational work and international relations at the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design.
Igor Panasiuk is a valid member of the Academy of Engineering Sciences of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Academy of Technology.
Under the supervision of Igor Panasiuk, 3 candidate's and 2 doctoral theses were defended.
More than 200 published scientific and scientific-methodological works, including 8 monographs, 5 textbooks, and 15 works, are indexed in the Scopus database.
